Secrets Out, I am NOT a Sell Out!

This is my labor of love! 
Secrets is certainly a wonderful outlet for me... 
I get to share what I love, get great feedback from you all, 
learn from fellow bloggers, expand my business opportunities and all that good stuff! 

Recently someone told me the only way to gain followers is to expose more of me. Maybe to a certain degree, I can see where she was coming from. But Secrets is about, fashion, fun, style, event planning ideas, gossip and life.

I use it to be proactive and better my craft but I am able to do so while keeping a big chunk of my life as private as possible. That is sacred to me. And while I've been asked to divulge more - this is it.

To me, this blog is important and while I want to spread a good message and be successful at the same time... I do not want to lose sight of who I am. (IE: giving too much of myself away)

These stories/articles I share about my life, the fashion I love, struggles of growing up, the party tips, the climb to the top, the hiccups - they are all REAL!

I am still that twenty something girl, juggling, learning, messing up, trying new things and my blog is where I can tell you all about this journey. It is an open diary of sorts BUT meant to be a fun outlet! For me, to share with you! This is girl talk on a greater scale. ;)

My family and boyfriend didn't sign up to be apart of this, I don't want to change their names when I talk about them. I just won't include them to the degree that other blogs do - and this is not a diss to them at all. I am just achieving a different goal. I promise, to be just be as authentic as possible with you, while keeping my privacy!

This has been a decision I have been considering for quite some time now. I was approached and asked to market with someone  ( Little did this person know, that I know marketing, I work in marketing! And little did she know, because she had never read my blog )

But  the SECRET IS OUT NOW... I have done this 100% myself. Bought my own merchandise for contests, did my own research, flooded my own facebook timeline with my posts and make my own graphics. I want so badly to have this blog blow up overnight, but in 2 years I have seen great success! More then I even anticipated - remember this was a bet with myself. *AND the ONLY resolution I have ever kept.

I want to expand, but I like that I have done this 100% AD FREE - I don't get paid if you visit my blog - I won't sell my goods or the good of my conscious for followers. I want genuine followers, family, friends, friends of friends, strangers too!  I have worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and I am grateful and proud. So for that alone, for you reading because you love me, or love my topics, because you heard from a friend about me, because you are genuine and kind hearted and share what you see...

 I want to say THANK YOU, because no success is overnight. And no journey is walked along a road paved of diamonds, and at the end of the marathon they don't give you a glass of Rose' ( but they should!) but because in my TWO YEARS writing, working and learning you have been here and you have been good to me... So THANK YOU! <3
