so much to do, see, wash & fold. 

perhaps i'm a little guilty of watching it pile up?! 

but that's life and lackluster enthusiasm can get the best of us all. 

so until further notice, i will be sipping and crossing things off the list!

And the Oscar goes too...

I hate to admit but maybe you will agree, 

I tend to expect some drop dead gorgeous gowns from the nominees.

Yet, I have been seeing the best of the best, on presenters!

This year there were statements to be made on the red carpet. 

One particular trend was undeniable...

 COLOR!

Beauty, uniqueness and style in all forms but color speaks and we all listened!

Like the princessy yellow on Alicia,

the sleek silk and sequined emerald on Rachel & Saoirse, 

the iridescent purple on Naomi, the beautiful belted blue (cobalt) on Brie, 

the sea foam and floral appliqués on Cate, 

the mod, sexy with hints of lace, cutouts mixed in the black numbers of 

Julianne, Kate, Jen & J-Law.

All the ladies of the red carpet brought it this year, 

but one lady in particular SLAYED!

And you know my feelings on this color sometimes. 

But this time, it is just outstanding...
