moment of impact

google image search the phrase...
moment of impact

now tell me what you saw?
collision, yes?
disclaimer:
my intention wasn't for you to see traumatic photos.
but at least you saw my point

these moments can arise from anything.
in my most humble opinion, i believe that if you are not handling "it"
it being the crisis, the problem, the hardship, the bump in the road
at the moment of impact...

"it" loses it's merit.
it never has the same effect after the fact.
there is no emotion, there is almost a disconnect and temporary forgetfulness.

how do you typically handle these things?

i hate the feeling of putting it aside and diving back in.
that isn't what i want.
i want to face it all at the moment of impact
and
sort through it then and there.

i find not many people are like me in this sense
 and
perhaps this is a confrontational mechanism?
well maybe that's a different blog, for a different day

but if you aren't in it presently...
how do i know you will be in it at all?!

how do you handle your own moments of impact?
