portion control


i just love knowing accomplishment
i love the feeling i get when its done and over with.
my lists are long and my portions are sometimes well, unbalanced!

i've always wanted to take on more than my plate could handle.
i've always believed that i was an exception to the rules.
and i certainly take pride in having my own brand of "controlled chaos".


let's not deny a full plate is distracting, especially if your not trained at portions!
you might never know where to start...

it is safe to say, i know where to start and i simply NEVER stop.
but writing, planning, keeping track and working on everything
are my things!

and i am okay with that, sometimes.
it's the rare moments when you could be backed against a wall.
when your throwing in more then you are getting out,
when your simple tasks cannot get managed
when you stop noticing how much laundry you have
and how you haven't seen real people in so long.

that is when we tend to crack.
it's okay to admit that you can't do it all.
i have never wanted to be superwoman anyway
 (plus red is definitely not my color!)

when do yo notice that everything you are doing is taking over you.
what are somethings you have a hard time "portioning out"?
