as some of you may know, i was set to make a little announcement earlier in the week. i was a ridiculous mix of excited and nervous! and to be honest it still freaks me out just a little bit. but much to my dismay, the new year started off really rocky, throwing life completely off course! ( i ended up getting the flu and it was miserable as could be. ) all the while, i lost my desire to make my "announcement"- completely chickened out but also for a multitude of reasons...
so late tuesday night, ( going into wednesday - the DAY i was due to make my announcement) my best friend and i were bs'ing on pinterest, facebook, and reading our horoscopes online. mine read as follows:
"When it comes to making things happen this year, you will have two options. You can become mired down in fear of potential problems, troubling detours, and worst-case scenarios, or you can choose to fully believe that all of your pursuits will go smoothly and will end with success. Although it is certainly possible that you will encounter some friction or trouble along your path, Taurus, you will ultimately achieve whatever you set out to do - as long as you believe you will. If you haven't had a lot of faith in yourself recently, this is an excellent time to bolster your courage and your confidence."
no, i won't bore you to death with my ideas of karma, or simple acts of grace, i won't get too far into my beliefs on horoscopes and things happening in 3's. i will simply say, i do tend to believe in signs and things happening for a reason and a rhyme - at the right time. this silly little statement totally just combined all my emotions, anxieties and fear into a nice pretty ball with a BOW! now here it was, proof in front of me - everything all placed so finely and snug into perspective! that gem up there, brought me back to my happy place and reassured everything i know about myself!
so without further delay, the big announcement...
i have decided to take my writing to a grand new place in a bit bigger of a location!
that location will be in a book!
that book is my gift to myself, my solution for the year of 2012! as i said, "if you do it right, it could be the one thing to change your life for not only this year, but for MANY years to come!"
